African Rainbow Capital, based by South African billionaire Patrice Motsepe, is switching to investing in digital banks and monetary startups, whereas shunning mining shares, saying the growth in commodity costs perhaps overdone.

The agency, which manages property valued at R14 billion ($935 million), offered its stake in Afrimat Ltd., a provider of building supplies, industrial minerals and bulk commodities reminiscent of iron ore. ARC can also be reducing its publicity to stakes in property corporations, citing saturation in high-end actual property markets in South Africa and the UK.
