Mumbai: Cops have been posted to stop any untoward incident exterior Aurangzeb’s tomb in Aurangabad after the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena requested for it to be demolished.

Entry for vacationers/guests have been revoked too by the native administration. The tomb got here into limelight not too long ago after the All India Majlis E Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Akbaruddin Owaisi mysteriously paid his respects there.

“Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray had advised Saamana that the tomb must be demolished. Then why is it nonetheless there,” requested MNS spokesperson Gajanan Kale on Tuesday.

“The Maharashtra authorities’s act to supply safety is like rubbing salt in our wounds. Aurangzeb brutally tortured Sambhaji Raje (son of Shivaji). He was the one who tried to trample on our swaraj and but the Maharashtra authorities has offered safety…,” Kale alleged.
