Samajwadi Celebration (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday submitted his resignation as Lok Sabha member from Azamgarh to Speaker Om Birla. Nevertheless, the minister will proceed in politics as an MLA from Karhal meeting, information company ANI reported citing SP prime sources.

Yadav had gained the Karhal meeting seat within the recently-held meeting polls in Uttar Pradesh. In addition to him, the Samajwadi Celebration (SP) has 4 different members within the Lok Sabha, together with his father Mulayam Singh Yadav.

UP ELECTION RESULT

Within the Uttar Pradesh election of 2022, the BJP gained 255 seats whereas the Samajwadi Celebration gained 111. Therefore, the BJP gained a majority and has retained energy within the state.

Within the 2017 election, the Bharatiya Janata Celebration (BJP) and its allies had gained 312 of the state’s 403 Meeting constituencies.
