Opposition events protested in Lok Sabha on Tuesday towards the rise in costs of gasoline and cooking fuel and staged a walkout demanding a rollback. Elevating the problem after Question Hour, Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury mentioned the opposition events had been claiming that the costs of diesel and petrol would improve after the election course of.

Members of the Congress, TMC, NCP, DMK and Left events raised slogans from their seats towards the gasoline value hike and demanded a rollback.

The opposition events had tried to lift the problem of as quickly as Lok Sabha met for Query Hour, however had been disallowed by Speaker Om Birla.
